Dexter 30 Day Challenge-Day 2 and 3

Day Two - Have you read the books? If so, books or TV show? 

No I haven’t. I have “Darkly Dreaming Dexter” (at least I think that’s the one I have) because I found it at the Goodwill and it was the publication with Micahel C. Hall on the cover. I intend to read it eventually but I’m currently re-reading the Harry Potter series then I’m gonna have some school reading to do.

Day Three - What is the exact moment that you ‘fell in love’ with the show?

Good God…I’m not sure. I kind of watched the entire series thus far like over the course of two months or so. I got season one and two of Dexter and watched them in like…three days. Then I had to watch season three and four online as my library didn’t gave season three on DVD. So yeah. I only started to watch Dexter because of the Buffy/Angel Alumni. Aka: The ever so sexy Julie Benz.

I dunno I think I fell in love with the show…and probably Dexter as a character…when the Paul situation arose. Oh also when he killed *SPOILER ALERT* Sgt. Doakes.

I fucking hated Doakes. Anyways…I dunno when I really fell in love with the show, all because for the longest time I was only watching for Lovely Rita.

Yes I just shoved a Beatles reference in there.

Me and my new Dexter action figure. I was pleasantly surprised to find out my Toys R Us had them. Especially since the store in Richmond, VA where I was gonna look for them, was catching shit for selling an action figure of “a serial killer” and the news wasn’t even explaining it’s a TV show or anything like that.

Anyways…I went to my store today and found this…and had a pleasant conversation with a fellow Truebie and explaining the awesomness that is Dexter to the clerks there.

Oh and I upset a Twihard by saying that True Blood vamps pwn.
