Today is my last day in Chicago.
I don’t wanna go.

I’ve had the most wonderful burger and sweet potatoe fries at this place right near my room. The hotel is great but the only thing that is annoying is all of the loud cars outside. But that’s okay. Sacrifices must be made and this room is really lovely. 

So we ate at this burger place, then walked about two or three blocks down to Caribou to get coffee. Now I’m back in the room just being a lazy bum and chilling in the bed under the warm covers. 

The train was really lovely but it was FREEZING so I was up and down all night trying to get comfortable and warm. Eventually this morning when mom was ready to be awake for the day she put her coat on top of my body so I eventually warmed up. 

It’s not that cold here in Chicago right now…so I hope it stays that way. 

keepdefying arrives later tonight and then we’re gonna go get dinner. 

Six more hours until I depart. 

I AM SEEING THE HUSH SOUND IN THREE.FUCKING.DAYS.

THEY’RE SO BEAUTIFUL AND I GET TO SEE THEM AND BE AN EMOTIONAL BASKET CASE. 

and it’s going to be snowing all next weekend in Chicago…I should be bothered but I’m not. If we’re staying in Downtown, it’s not like I can’t just walk to the places I wanna go to…which will all mostly be in Downtown. 

For Chicago-ans, does snow make getting onto the metro and using it difficult? I’ve never used a public transit system with snow on the ground before so I don’t know.
